The Lancashire countryside has always been ignored by the tourism industry, pick up any bus tour of England brochure and the buses always fly up the M6 without stopping in Lancashire on the way to Grasmere and Gretna green. It must be that image of "Dark Satanic Mills" the suviving mills have all been converted to luxury condos
